Solution to the problem of not being able to control via PDO after importing EDS file into PLC software

1. Function Description: This document addresses the issue of PDO control failure after importing an EDS file into Delta PLC software by modifying the EDS file.

2. Notes:

1) This document only applies to Limax CANopen communication integrated motors.

2) EDS files can be opened with Notepad.

2. EDS File Modification

After importing "NiMotion_PMM28B_V1.00.eds" into ISPSoft, SDO reading and writing are possible, but PDO control of the motor is unsuccessful, as shown in Figure 1.

Open the EDS file with Notepad, find Device Type, and change DefaultValue to 0x00020192, as shown in Figure 2. Then re-import the modified EDS file.

When configuring the node, do not check the manufacturer code, product code, or version, as shown in Figure 3.

After modifying according to the above steps, you can connect normally.
