Problems and challenges encountered
1. The sound of the blocked rotor return to the origin is too loud, and the motor will heat up: During the operation of the equipment, it was found that the motor produced a loud sound when the blocked rotor returned to the origin, and the motor had obvious heating, which affected the stable operation and life of the equipment.
2. The speed of the STM5756B-CANOPEN-M motor in position mode cannot be increased: During the debugging process, the technicians found that the running speed of the STM5756B-CANOPEN-M motor in position mode could not reach the expected speed, which limited the working efficiency of the equipment.
Solution
For the above problems, we provide the following solutions:
1. Optimize the parameters of the stall return to origin:
Reduce the speed of the stall return to origin H6099-02 to 5000 to reduce the load and friction of the motor during the stall process.
Reduce the stall detection time from 400ms to 10ms to improve the motor's response speed to the stall and reduce unnecessary energy consumption and heat generation.
2. Adjust the motor speed setting:
Check the parameter settings of the STM5756B-CANOPEN-M motor and find that the maximum speed is incorrectly set to 50RPM.
Adjust the maximum speed to the appropriate range to ensure that the motor can operate normally in position mode and reach the expected speed.
